My name is Zak Hutchinson. I am an undergraduate senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln who is currently searching for a full-time position beginning in June of 2022. I am a hardworking self-starter that has relevant experience in the product design field. I also have exposure to various other engineering industries such as manufacturing and food processing.

I have completed many important design projects throughout my years in engineering school. Some large, some small, but all demonstrate my ability to come up with and build useful products. Feel free to check some out in the project page!

In my free time I like to tinker around with different everyday items and get down to the nitty gritty of how they work. This has always been a part of who I am; I am extremely curious, and I have a strong desire to learn why things are the way they are. I get excited when an opportunity to learn something new comes about because it will greatly improve my design abilities for new projects.
